Privacy policy

Last updated: [date – to be confirmed]

This policy explains what personal data we collect through sitequilt.com, why we collect it and what rights you have. We keep it short because the website collects very little: only what you send us through the contact form or by email.

1. Who we are

The website sitequilt.com is operated by JOYUS S.R.L. (CUI RO52880790), [registered address – to be confirmed] (“Sitequilt”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What data we collect

  • Contact and demo form: full name, company, email address, phone number (optional), number of locations, industry, your message, and your confirmation that you agree to this processing, with the date and time it was given.
  • Emails you send us: your email address, name and the content of your message.
  • Technical data: when you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, in order to deliver the pages and protect the site against abuse.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website. Please don’t send us special categories of data (for example, health data) through the form.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

  • To answer your request and arrange a demo – steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To keep a record of your request and of the confirmation given in the form – our legitimate interest in being able to show how we handled your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To keep the website secure and working – our legitimate interest in protecting the site against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not add you to a newsletter because you filled in the form.

4. Who receives your data

We share your data only with service providers that help us run the website and reply to you, acting as processors on our behalf and under a data processing agreement:

  • our website hosting and content delivery provider;
  • our transactional email provider, which delivers form submissions to our inbox;
  • our email and office software provider.

[Names of processors – to be confirmed]

We may also disclose data where the law requires it. We never sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When that happens, we rely on a European Commission adequacy decision or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, together with any additional safeguards required. [Transfer details – to be confirmed]

6. How long we keep your data

  • Form submissions and emails: for as long as we need them to handle your request and any follow-up, and no longer than [retention period – to be confirmed] afterwards, unless we start working together, in which case the relevant contract terms apply.
  • Technical logs: for the short period set by our hosting provider for security purposes. [period – to be confirmed]

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, write to [email protected]. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal, www.dataprotection.ro), or with the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who need it to answer you.

9. Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
